Why a campaign?
Every day, people find connection, hope, and purpose through Sanctuary. Preschool families, youth group, Camp Sanctuary in the summer, and of course in worship on Sundays, in small groups, and all the ways we gather in person and online.
You are the reason those connections happen.
When someone who is lonely discovers they’re not alone, that’s because of you. When someone in need is connected to tangible help, that’s because of you. When kids are reminded week after week that they are loved unconditionally and made in God’s image, that’s you. We don’t just participate in church, we are the church. All of us. Everyone present in this place. Rooted in Christ’s love, we share that unconditional love with our neighbors in ways both obvious and unseen.
It’s easy to see the growth above the surface: more people connecting, programs getting bigger, our physical space constantly transforming. But none of that would be possible without the strong, expansive roots that run underneath. Roots are rarely appreciated as much as giant branches or beautiful flowers, but they are the only reason that visible growth is able to happen.
This fall campaign is about strengthening those roots.
We already have so many deep connections: people who genuinely know and care for one another, who share their time, their finances, and their skills through Sanctuary. By continuing to invest in those roots to support our growth, we are able to be ready for the next person who needs exactly what this community offers: a safe, sacred space to connect with God and others, and respond together in service. This campaign is about ensuring that when someone takes a courageous step towards a new community, a new experience, or a new chapter in life, we’re ready to welcome them with open arms and genuine support.
We are asking everyone to participate. All of us. Everyone present in this place.
If everyone participates we will reach our goals: to financially sustain our ministry together for another year AND invest in our roots to support this growing community.
